Now Booking: The House of Hee Haw!

The House of Hee Haw! is a new entertainment production of the Hai Media Group, following a well-received debut performance of this comedy cabaret act at the Finger in the Pie festival held at Madam JoJo’s in London’s Soho, on April 6th 2008, this comedy performance group is now booking appearances in the UK, EU and USA.

This is rock ‘n roll entertainment at its best, offering an Americana-style slapstick comedy performance that is easily incorporated for any showcase evening of music, variety act line-up or as a participating artist troupe in festivals. The House of Hee Haw! can also be booked as a full club night event, for any venue, that combines original multimedia visuals with theatre, burlesque, live music, DJs, stand-up comedy, and visiting performance guests from the USA.

A London Cabaret Comedy

Dr. Richard Barbrook Debuts Class Wargames in 2008, and Visits Fans in Vienna for May Day

This year, Dr. Richard Barbrook, author of Imaginary Futures and a political science lecturer at the University of Westminster, launches a new project, revising Guy Debord’s classic The Game of War. He’s been appearing at a variety of venues in London, along with other academics, artists and supporters, to bring audiences Class Wargames.

On Saturday, April 26th, 2008, Class Wargames will be played at The Pump House Gallery in Battersea Park, starting at 12 NOON, until 5 PM. The public is welcome to attend and for the next show of Class Wargames, please visit the official website at: www.classwargames.net

In other news, Dr. Barbrook has also been invited to speak to a crowd of 100,000 at Vienna’s May Day celebrations, on Thursday, May 1st 2008. He is visiting his fans in Vienna, by invitation of Vienna Mayor Michael Häupl, and will be sharing ideas from his popular book The Class of the New

Interview With Glenn Gregory of the British Electric Foundation and Heaven 17

Following a tribute concert to Scotland’s beloved pop star Billy MacKensie, Hai Media Group’s Lisa Devaney caught up backstage with Glenn Gregory of Heaven 17.

Gregory, along with Heaven 17 band mate Martyn Ware, performed MacKensie’s popular ‘Party Fears’, in a concert tribute to MacKensie’s life, as well as a reunion, and first ever perfomance night for the British Electric Foundation at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in Spring 2007.
